The 6th ranked Duke Blue Devils opened up the Brotherhood Run, which welcomed former Blue Devils great Johnny Dawkins back to Cameron Indoor stadium for his contributions during his collegiate days.

From a scoring margin the Blue Devils created separation in the second half, scoring 56 points after a slim one point margin going into intermission.
Freshman star Cameron Boozer who led all players with 33 points which included 4 of 7 from deep, 12 of 19 from the field, and a game high 12 boards put everyone on notice of his intangibles from a overall skillset.

Head Coach Jon Scheyer was on record stating his performance against the UCF Knights was that of a warrior. Named to the ACC Preseason all conference first team, Cameron will be asked to fill the void immediately for a team that is searching for it's identity early on in the season with tough test on the horizon with Texas, Kansas, and a exhibition Sunday at Tennessee.
Notably, Dame Sarr (Oblique injury) and Maliq Brown (Knee procedure) were out for the contest Tuesday.
Duke will head to Knoxville for an highly anticipated exhibition clash against the Tennessee Volunteers Sunday, October 26th, with tipoff starting at 7pm, coverage live on ESPN2
