With the win, Jon Scheyer ties Tommy Lloyd with the most wins in his first three years (88).

Kon Knueppel contributed 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assist. Grad transfer Sion James scored 16 pivotal points including a key 3 pointer down the stretch to give the Blue Devils breathing room.

Arizona Wildcats combo guard and former North Carolina Tar Heel Caleb Love scored 35, the most allowed by Duke against a single player this season. With the Wildcats scoring 93 points in a loss, this was the most points allowed by the Blue Devils on the year.

The Blue Devils will face the 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night, with tip off starting at 8:49. In the contest, this will be a matchup of styles of play. The Crimson like to get out in transition, and are phenomal from deep. The Tide broke a 24 year old 3- point shooting record on Thursday hitting 25 threes in victory over BYU. Duke will look to keep the game into a half court set.
