Cooper Flagg Sweeps POY, First Team Honors

Duke phenom Cooper Flagg from local and regional media members was voted as expected, the 2024-25 ACC Player of The Year and Rookie of the Year within the conference.




With the award, Cooper now becomes the 4th player in the history of the conference to sweep POY and ROY honors. Other phenoms included national champion Jahlil Okafor, Zion Williamson, and Marvin Bagley.


Other Blue Devils to be named all conference included sharpshooter Kon Knueppel (2nd team), Tyrese Proctor (3rd Team), and the bigman Khaman Maluach being a honorable mention.

Maxime Raynaud - Stanford

Chucky Hepburn - Louisville

Chase Hunter - Clemson

Hunter Sallis- Wake Forest


Head Coach Jon Scheyer finished 2nd in COY voting which faced large scrutiny on expectations, versus surprises from the national media. Coach Scheyer and Duke finished with a 19-1 record, the most wins in a conference since the league moved to 20 games in 2019-20.
