Duke Extends Jon Scheyer Through 2031

Duke Basketball has decided to extend head coach Jon Scheyer through the 2030-31 season, which adds on two extra years to his current deal. Details of the deal were not made public.


Since succeeding Mike Krzyzewski, Jon Scheyer has won 89 games in 3 years which also include notching the top recruiting spot three of the last four periods.

The 89 wins within the first three years of his coaching stint ties only Brad Underwood, and Brad Stevens.


Jon Scheyer notable accomplishments include 2 ACC Championships, 8 March Madness wins which include last years 2025 Final Four, and the 2024 Elite Eight.
