Duke Phenom Cooper Flagg Declares For NBA Draft

Phenom freshman and presumed number 1 pick Cooper Flagg announced today via his X and Instagram page his plans to enter the 2025 NBA draft.
The freshman has been a pretty sure lock for the overall pick for over a year now an after his campaign in Durham where he led all meaningful categories, he helped the Blue Devils solidify a final four birth, its second in the last three years.
Cooper is the second freshman from Duke's 2024 number recruiting class to enter the NBA draft joining sharpshooter Kon Knueppell and Tyrese Proctor.
Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this year.
Leading Duke to a 35-4 record, Cooper became the fourth concensus freshman to win the Naismaith Player of the Year Award. Cooper accepted the award during the final four in San Antonio.
Cooper Flagg has drawn NBA comparisons to Celtics star Jayson Tatum and hall of famer Scottie Pippen.
