Duke's Jadyn Donovan Named to Cheryl Miller Watch List

Duke women's basketball two way wing Jadyn Donovan was selected today to the 2026 Cheryl Miller Award watchlist named by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Wednesday evening.

The prestigous award honors the best small forward in all of women's Divison 1. Cheryl Miller, who took the honors 3 times during her Hall of Fame career, is recognize by many as the greatest women college basketball player of all time with her credentials on and off the court being a pillar to many in the broadcasting community and local neighborhoods of Riverdale, California.


Donovan, who will be asked to be the heart and soul of the defense for Coach Lawson and Duke is one of several players in Power 4 basketball to average 2 assist, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game, to go along with 6 boards, and 5 points per game.


Jadyn, role is expected to increase this year on both ends of the floor, after the departure of several key pieces from last years Elite-8 team including Oluchi Okanawa transfering back home to Maryland, and Vanessa De Jesus, who took her talents to Notre Dame.


Next up for Duke is a trip across the pond to Paris as they open the season against Baylor Monday, November 3rd.
