Duke Women's B-Ball Stifling Defense Shuts out Radford

The Lady Duke Blue Devils depth, guard play, and size were too much for Radford Monday morning during Duke's annual Education game in a 89-36 blowout inside Cameron Indoor.

The Blue Devils had 6 players in double figures, including a game high, breakout performance by Jordan Wood who finished the contest with 13 points, and 8 boards.

Reigan Richardson finished with 11 points with 2 rebounds.

Vanessa De Jesus logged limited minutes after returning from a devastating knee injury last year. De Jesus finished with 4 points,2 assists in 16 minutes of action.

During the route Duke only allowed 3 field goal makes from Radford through out the entire second half, with Radford shooting just 3/19 from the field.

Duke faces off with Liberty Thursday November 7th, who Coach Kara Lawson gave high praises stating, it will be tough challenge for the Blue Devils in their first road action in just the second game of the season.
