Lady Blue Devils Bolster Roster ahead of 2025-26 Campaign

The Lady Blue Devils led by Kara Lawson revealed today they acquired transfers Anna Wikstrom and Hailey Johnson to the 2025 team roster. This move helped fill the void after coveted Sophmore guard Oluchi Okanawa and Grad transfer Vanessa De Jesus departed the program early this year.

Anna Wikstrom a international two way player brings in leadership, playmaking ability averaging 16 ppg, 4.6 rebounds, 4.5 apg, and 1.5 steals during the 2024-25 campaign. Moreover, she has competed in the FIBA trials by the way of Norway.

Hailey Johnson, combo guard out of Pepperdine appeared in 31 games, graduating in three years.

With the Acquisition the Blue Devils look to continue its Elite Eight run from last years defeat to the Gamecocks being led by sharpshooter Ashlon Jackson, Jadyn Donovan, Taina Mair and Toby Fournier.

Head coach Kara Lawson will begin her coaching duties in Colorado Springs for the USA Women's Americup Trials finalizing the roster ahead of the FIBA event.
