The Pack who sit at 4-12 in the conference, sitting at 17th in the conference are looking to avoid finishing in the bottom three of the conference. Teams that finisg 16-18 in conference play are automatically eliminated from contention in the tourney held by the conference. Ironically, this is the same tourney where the Pack made its magical run a season ago, ultimately leading to Phoenix.

NC State heads on the road where it's winless on the season (0-8) to Syracuse Wednesday night.
