UNC Basketball Ranks 8th for Portal Moves Under Malone

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels under the Mike Malone regime have been making moves on and off the court landing Matt Able, Neoklis Avdalas, Terrence Brown, and Cade Bennerman and reportedly, the Heels are not done.

Mike Malone has orchestrated his roster in Chapel Hill with guard play, size, and perimeter experience. Matt Able getting feedback from the NBA and coming back for another year gives Malone a guard who has craftiness to attack the rim, play both sides of the ball, and experience to play his own game within the flow of the offense. Able during limited minutes a year ago under Will Wade showed tremendous promise from downtown, and pestiness to put the team on his shoulders, despite limited playing time.

Going overseas and attracting Sayon Keita and Alexandros Samodurov, both who will hear their names in next years' draft will give depth, length, and grit for the former NBA coach.

How it all will click and translate under first year coach Mike Malone remains to be seen, but ESPN ranking this portal class 8th speaks volumes.
